11 places to score free donuts and specials on Friday for National Donut Day

Baked Cinnamon-Sugar Doughnuts
National Donut Day is Friday, June 2. Donut miss it!

Friday is National Donut Day and you know what that means – free donuts! Scoff at food holidays all you want, but this one actually has kind of a cool history. Did you know it dates back to 1938, when it started as a Salvation Army fundraiser?

Honor the history, and feed your sweet tooth on your ride to work tomorrow. Here are the places you’ll want to visit. And check back tomorrow on National Donut Day for tips on throwing a donut party! (And yummy recipes!)
